Former Portsmouth chief executive Peter Storrie pocketed more than £87,000 for acting as a consultant to the club following his departure from Fratton Park.
Storrie was given the payout for just five months’ work between February and July after leaving his £1.2million-a-year post.
Supporter Tony Goodall said: “A lot of people hold Peter Storrie responsible for us getting into this mess in the first place.”
And fellow fan Bill Gillon added: “I’d like to know exactly what he did for that money.”
Pompey also splashed out almost £30,000 on a scout to recruit new players – even though they were subject to a transfer embargo since January.
Storrie refused to comment.
