Man United team news
Midfield duo Michael Carrick and Owen Hargreaves will again miss out when Manchester United face West Brom at Old Trafford tomorrow.
It had been hoped the pair would be fit after recent ankle and knee problems, respectively. Carrick may return to training at some point next week, he will not be considered, while Hargreaves is slightly further behind as he battles a long-standing tendinitis injury.
Ryan Giggs will definitely play but Sir Alex Ferguson must take a late check on Anderson and Carlos Tevez, neither of whom were due back from international duty until this afternoon.
Provisional squad: Van der Sar, Amos, Neville, Brown, Rafael, Ferdinand, Vidic, Evans, Evra, Ronaldo, O'Shea, Fletcher, Anderson, Giggs, Nani, Tevez, Berbatov, Rooney, Welbeck.
West Brom team news
West Brom are boosted by the return of winger Chris Brunt for tomorrow's clash against Manchester United at Old Trafford.
Northern Ireland international Brunt has recovered from the hamstring strain that forced him to miss the last two games.
But while Brunt returns, midfielder Filipe Teixeira has had to abandon plans to make his long awaited comeback against United.
Teixeira, who has been sidelined since March after suffering knee ligament damage against Plymouth, has picked up a calf strain in training.
Central defender Abdoulaye Meite, who damaged his calf against Bolton on August 30, is still sidelined.
West Brom (from): Carson, Kiely, Zuiverloon, Hoefkens, Barnett, Donk, Olsson, Robinson, Cech, Morrison, Greening, Koren, Valero, Brunt, Miller, Bednar, Moore, Slusarski, MacDonald, Pele.
