Ambitious QPR are signing Derby striker Rob Hulse in a £1 million deal as they try to buy promotion.
Boss Neil Warnock was tying up the move last night after picking Hulse ahead of other signing targets and agreeing a deal with the Rams.
Hulse had also been chased by Cardiff City but opted for a lucrative package with Rangers who have also got moves for Portsmouth’s Tommy Smith and Blackburn’s Jason Roberts on their radar.
Rangers plan to be busy when the Championship window re-opens and Hulse could be just the first of a couple of more eye-catching captures.
