Rafa Benitez admits he is concerned by Liverpool’s poor start to the season.
The Reds have already lost twice - the same number of defeats they suffered last season - and Benitez says he is worried by their form.
“Clearly we are not happy with the situation,” said the Liverpool boss. “Last year we were talking about drawing too many games so maybe now instead of draws we can have some wins.
“It will be different and maybe we can have a lot of points.”
Tomorrow’s clash with Bolton is must-win for the Reds, but Benitez is refusing to panic.
“It’s too early,” he said. “The message for the players is the same - three points from our next game, that’s it.
“We have to approach every game the same way, we have to go for the three points.
“Last year people were asking in August and September could we be contenders and I said we will see in April, and in April we were very close.
“It has to the same this season, one game at a time and three points.
“Bolton will be a difficult game. They are a physical team and they work very hard. We have to approach the game with confidence and if we do, then I’m sure we will be OK.”
