Rafa tells Reds aces: 'Attack, attack, attack'

Rafael Benitez has signalled Liverpool’s new-found attacking intent ahead of the Merseyside derby.
While the Anfield side have tightened their defence significantly in recent weeks, the Reds boss admits that his side has lost their way going forward.
And he is ready to go all out on the offensive against Everton in the derby showdown on Saturday, as he looks for the next stage in Liverpool’s recovery.
The Merseyside team have posted five clean sheets during the six match Premier League unbeaten run they take into the Mersey classic, and Benitez wants to see that improvement repeated in a strike force he accepts hasn’t been potent enough.
“Okay, it isn’t as good in attack as we want it to be but we have to keep pushing and we know can improve. We need more positives than negatives.
“The players know that we are improving. We are doing much better in defence and that is a big difference but we have to improve in attack, that is clear.
“You have to keep analysing the big picture. If every week you think it is one step forward then one step back, you will become very nervous.
“So it is important to keep a perspective and to give confidence to the players. We have just had another win and another clean sheet. That is a positive, and now we need to be positive in attack.”
