Reading squad spread far and wide on loan

Reading's decision to extend Leroy Lita's loan spell at Norwich means they now have 16 of their squad of 41 players on loan.

Lita and Alex Pearce at Southampton are with rival Championship sides.

Adam Federici and Hal Robson-Kanu are at Southend, Ben Hamer and Alan Bennett at Brentford, Scott Davies at Aldershot, Gylfi Sigurdsson at Shrewsbury, Simon Church at Wycombe and Nicholas Bignall at Northampton.

Emerse Fae is in Nice and five others are with nonleague sides.

Boss Steve Coppell said: "They all just want to play, so this is the best way to allow them to do that."
