Reading to make move for Sunderland's Dean Whitehead

Reading have entered the race to sign unsettled Sunderland captain Dean Whitehead.
The 26-year-old midfielder, rated at £3million, wants to quit the Stadium of Light after clashing with boss Roy Keane.
Meanwhile, Emerse Fae has moved to Nice after accusing Royals boss Steve Coppell of having no rapport with his players.
Fae starts his loan next month with a £2m permanent transfer to follow.
But the midfielder rapped: "I don't understand how a coach who has followed me for a year does not give me a chance in my best position once he has signed me."
