Cristiano Ronaldo isn't the only Manchester United player Real Madrid have set their sights on - Carlos Tevez would be warmly welcomed at the Bernabeu too.
Real's Argentinean striker Gonzalo Higuain has revealed that Tevez is a target for the La Liga side, with Real hoping to take advantage of his delayed talks at Manchester United.
Tevez is still loaned to United by West Ham and the Manchester club have yet to strike a new contract with the midfielder.
"I hope Carlos comes. He's a great player and, if he comes, he will be welcomed," said Higuain this week.
Tevez, meanwhile, has said that he happy plying his trade in the Premier League. "I love playing in the Premier League and I am very happy at Manchester United," he said.
Real will just have to settle for Cristiano Ronaldo on his own then.
