Real Madrid will sign Cristiano Ronaldo for £70m on July 7

Real Madrid have named the day they intend to officially unveil Cristiano Ronaldo as their new £70million world-record signing - Monday, July 7.
That's how confident the Spanish club are of prising the 23-year-old winger away from Manchester United.
Despite United's defiant stance and insistence that Ronaldo is not for sale at any price, Real believe he will be at the Bernabeu within the next fortnight.
Ronaldo is not due back for pre-season training with United until July 14, when he is scheduled to come face-to-face with Sir Alex Ferguson for the first time since it emerged he wants a transfer.
But Real are anxious Fergie does not get a chance to persuade his star to stay in Manchester - which is why they have set the July 7 deadline to seal Ronaldo's signature.
Ronaldo is on holiday but Real want him to slap in a transfer request as soon as possible, so they can submit a formal bid and end the long-running saga.
Fergie's No.2 Carlos Queiroz warned Ronaldo he would regret leaving.
"Manchester United is very special," said Queiroz.
"Because of that we know how to surround Cristiano completely with all the affection and all the attention he deserves."
