Revealed: the nine reasons why Liverpool will not sack Rafa Benitez this season

They are nine reasons why Liverpool will not sack Rafa Benitez before the end of the season.
They are the eight Spaniards and one Argentinian in the Anfield bootroom and getting rid of them and Benitez now would cost the Reds in excess of £25million.
Liverpool would have to pay up most of the £22.5million five-year deal Benitez signed just eight months ago if they gave him the boot.
And they would also have to pick up the bill for the exodus of his eight compatriots and Argentinian Mauricio Pellegrino, who would follow him through the exit.
Some, like rehab coach Eduardo Parra Garcia, are in the first few months of their contracts having arrived in the summer as part of Benitez's major shake-up at Melwood.
The nine include key personnel like chief scout Eduardo Macia and first-team coach Pellegrino, right down to reserve team fitness coach Albert Riera Gonzalo Rodriguez.
They are part of the fabric at Anfield and comprise nearly half of the 20-man bootroom assembled by Benitez.
They illustrate how Liverpool would have to bring in a completely new management structure at Anfield, causing great upheaval, if they did axe Benitez.
Benitez has completely changed the coaching set-up at Anfield since arriving in 2004 and club doctor Mark Waller is one of just four survivors from the days of Gerard Houllier.
Little wonder then that managing director Christian Purslow and co-owners George Gillett and Tom Hicks will wait to make a judgement on Benitez until the end of the season when any change can be managed more easily.
Ironically, this was the strategy used by former chief executive Rick Parry and ex-owner David Moores to bring Benitez to power and they waited until the end of the 2003-04 campaign to axe Houllier.
