Roberto Di Matteo wins race for Reuben Reid

Roberto Di Matteo has beaten Ian Holloway in the race to sign Rotherham hitman Reuben Reid.

West Brom boss Di Matteo and Blackpool chief Holloway have been slugging it out for the highly-rated young Millers striker.

But Di Matteo snared Reid, 21, after agreeing a £300,000 fee with the League Two outfit. Reid notched 19 goals for United last season.
