Martinez wants Wigan to show more consistency

Wigan go from wonderful to woeful under Roberto Martinez - and even the manager never knows what side is going to turn up.
And the Spaniard hopes that bi-polar behaviour works in their favour as they try to recover from a derby disaster with two vital home games against Aston Villa and Burnley this week.
Martinez said: "This is not the time to feel sorry for yourselves. We can bounce back against Villa to flush out the feeling.
"We have shown how good we can be, we have done that time after time, but you just don't have the consistency we need."
Martinez pointed to victors Bolton as an example of a side that can win and lose heavily and somehow take it in their stride at this vital stage of the campaign.
He said: "You look at Bolton, they went down 4-0 in their last game and that is what is going to happen. Small details will make big differences in scorelines."
Martinez dragged off new boy Victor Moses and Paul Scharner after his side went three down and may toughen up his side for the Villa crunch. They do crumble at times and find it hard to stop the slide in a game when it starts.
