Rooney: We're ready to pounce if City slip up

Wayne Rooney has warned leaders Manchester City that United will be ready to “pounce” if the noisy neighbours drop points over Christmas.
Following Wednesday night's 5-0 demolition of Fulham, the champions have taken 23 points from a possible 27 on their travels this season.
Man City will need ninety points to beat United to the title, says Mancini
It's in stark contrast with their scratchy away form last season, and the Rooster said: “It was a great win for us at Fulham and it’s been an amazing turnaround in our away form since last year.
“We took our foot off the gas in the second half, but we were always in control and we have a lot of games coming up, so it was nice not to have to run as much as usual.
“Now we have two home games coming up and we need to keep pushing. If City slip up, we will be there waiting and we need to pounce.”
Giggs: "I was starting to worry I wouldn’t score this season!"
