Sunderland boss Roy Keane has been charged with improper conduct by the FA after being sent to the stands during Saturday's 5-0 defeat at Chelsea.
Keane was asked to leave the dugout by ref Martin Atkinson after he had questioned a series of decisions in the tunnel at half-time.
Keane insisted he had not been sent off, just asked to watch from the stand. He said: "I didn't swear at him or anything."
