SPL move to end press no-shows

The Scottish Premier League have confirmed they are considering making it an offence for managers to snub post-match press conferences.
Clydesdale Bank Premier League bosses are encouraged to attend media briefings under current SPL guidelines but there are no sanctions in place should they fail to do so.
Motherwell manager Jim Gannon has twice left stadia in the last month without addressing the press, most recently after Saturday's 2-0 defeat at Hibernian.
An SPL spokesman told Press Association Sport: "Our guidelines have worked well in the past.
"They are designed in consultation with the clubs and reviewed by the clubs regularly, and they've served us well.
"We've not had to go down the route of enforcing it through formal rules and regulations but it's something that we're going to have another look at."
