Big Sam: Players to blame for Chelsea failure NOT Ancelotti

Sam Allardyce reckons Chelsea’s players should accept the blame for the club’s failure to keep Roman Abramovich happy.
The Blues’ owner is angry at his club’s early exit from the Champions League and recent lack of success in the Premier League.
Chelsea last won the title in 2006 and Blackburn boss Allardyce says it’s time big guns like John Terry and Michael Ballack held their hands up.
He said: “It depends on the players more than the manager. Fans can blame the manager and the chairman can blame the manager, but if you look at the size and strength of their squad, the players have to share the blame.”
Allardyce can’t understand why tomorrow’s rivals nearly went into meltdown after losing to Jose Mourinho’s Inter Milan this week.
He said: “They are in a good position to win the league and with the FA Cup, they might easily win the double.”
