Sam Allardyce set to bring Swedish star who snubbed Everton to Blackburn

Blackburn Rovers boss Sam Allardyce wants to sign Swedish midfield star Rasmus Elm - and bring him to the Premier League at the second attempt.
Allardyce is making inquiries about the tall Scandinavian prospect who only joined Dutch champions AZ Alkmaar in the summer for £4 million.
Rovers have been tipped off that Elm wants to come to England - after fearing he made the wrong move to snub Everton for Alkmaar in the last window.
The midfielder had the chance to join David Moyes's team after being a stand-out for his country in their European under-21 championship finals.
Now Allardyce sees Elm, 21, as the ideal addition to his team which has been sadly lacking in midfield for the past couple of years. The Blackburn boss knows he has to improve that area and bring in younger talent.
However the price may prove a problem - with Alkmaar paying £4 million and not in the mood to drop their valuation on Elm in a hurry. But Allardyce is hoping to be given cash backing.
