Sam Allardyce won't take backroom army to Blackburn

Sam Allardyce will take a slimline staff to Blackburn Rovers if he gets the job - and will not be allowed to bring his backroom army.

Big Sam (above) has spoken to Rovers about the vacancy to clear up some crucial issues.

The ex-Bolton and Newcastle United manager is famed for his team of support staff, but says he would only want one assistant, a fitness coach, a chief scout and a senior 'helper'.
