Sandell offer shut down

Aldershot manager Kevin Dillon has confirmed that he has withdrawn the contract offered to defender Andy Sandell.
Left-back Sandell was offered a new deal after last month`s play-off defeat to Rotherham but has failed to respond and Dillon is now concentrating on other targets as he assembles his squad for the 2010/11 season.
Dillon told the club`s official website: "The contract offer was previously made to Andy but as he has not responded to the club despite a number of attempts to finalise the situation it has now been withdrawn. I said earlier in the week that I am keen to attract players that want to play for Aldershot Town and I have a list of potential targets that would suit the parameters required."
