Scott Dann close to £3.5m move to Birmingham

Birmingham are closing in on a £3.5million deal for Coventry defender Scott Dann.

The Blues want three new centre-backs after promotion to the Premier League. Dann, 22, is set to sign in a straight cash move. Birmingham have agreed a deal to sign Ecuador stopper Giovanny Espinoza and hope to get Oguchi Onyewu, who is out of contract at Standard Liege.
