Sheffield United target rivals' defender

Sheffield United have joined Coventry and QPR in the hunt to snap up Sheffield Wednesday's transfer listed centre back Richard Wood. The 24 year defender has already turned down a move to South Yorkshire rivals Barnsley.

The Bramall Lane side need a replacement for Matt Kilgallon with Bolton the favourites to land the 25 year old centre back for £4 million in January.
