Sheffield United to battle Reading and Birmingham for Crystal Palace star Ben Watson

Sheffield United manager Kevin Blackwell has signed a one-year extension to his contract, committing himself to the club until 2012.
The former Leeds and Luton boss put pen to paper at a press conference yesterday.
Blackwell will join Birmingham and Reading in a £2m battle for Ben Watson.
The Crystal Palace midfielder is poised to leave Selhurst Park after rejecting a string of contract offers.
