Sheffield Wednesday line up double swoop

Sunderland midfielder Liam Miller and former Fulham striker Collins John have been lined up in a double raid by Sheffield Wednesday.

Owls boss Brian Laws wants to take John from Dutch club NEC Nijmegen, while Miller can leave Sunderland after being on loan with Queens Park Rangers last season.

Laws will complete the £250,000 signing from Wolves of Darren Potter today.
