Starlet quits Middlesbrough for Portugal

Nathan Porritt - the wonder boy once wanted by all of the top clubs - has quit Middlesbrough to sign for Portuguese side Belenenses on a free transfer.

Former England youth winger Porritt has left Boro and signed a two-year deal with the Lisbon club where he will pick up his career.

Porritt was once chased by Chelsea among others in moves that were highlighted by BBC's Panorama programme into football sleaze.
