Blackburn manager Steve Kean is set to be rewarded with a pay rise to £1.5million a year despite protests about his club's relegation form, according to reports.
A source close to the club's Indian owners Venky's claimed the unpopular Scot would get a "decent rise".
It is yet another sign that Venky and Balaji Rao will not sack Kean despite regular supporter demands for him to go.
The manager is equally bullish and claimed this week that Rovers should be in the top 10. He has spoken previously about bringing Champions League football back to Ewood Park.
There was new controversy surrounding the brothers after they left Saturday's six-pointer at Wigan during halftime and did not return.

A source suggested Venky Rao had been "spooked" by being verbally attacked by a small group of Blackburn fans on the way into the DW Stadium, but Goals On Sunday host Chris Kamara claimed he had been told the brothers had found conditions too cold in their thin coats.
