Stoke fail in Stephane M'Bia move

Stoke City are reeling from a record snub from Rennes midfield powerhouse Stephane M'Bia - who agreed to sign for Marseille in a £10million deal last night.
M'Bia discussed personal terms with the Potteries club yesterday, but he was demanding a staggering £75,000-a-week in a fouryear contract.
Stoke had hoped M'Bia would accept around £50,000-a-week, but instead he returned to France where Marseille are said to have completed his signing.
