Stoke plan swoop for Celtic's Thomas Gravesen

Stoke boss Tony Pulis is keen on Celtic misfit Thomas Gravesen.

Pulis is trying to sign experienced players on short-term deals.

Gravesen, 32, is on £60,000 a week at Celtic but they would allow him to leave for free and may give him a pay-off for the final year of his contract.

His wage demands are proving a hurdle but, if Stoke could get him for nothing with the promise of regular football, it may tempt him to join.
