Stoke to offer Beattie plus £7m for Wigan striker

Stoke are ready to offer Wigan £7million plus James Beattie to land Hugo Rodallega.

The Colombian has been a Potters target since January and manager Tony Pulis will now step up his bid to sign the striker.

Aston Villa are also keen on Rodallega but can’t buy until James Milner’s move to Man City goes through.

Beattie clashed with Pulis last season.
