Wycombe manager Gary Waddock has raided Brentford for the second time in 24 hours with the signing of experienced frontman Ben Strevens.
The 30-year-old former Barnet and Dagenham player follows fellow former Bee Danny Foster through the door at Adams Park and has signed a two-year contract.
Waddock told the club's official website: He's a good addition to the squad. He's a proven goalscorer at this level, which is something we've been looking for. He knows where the goal is and the way we play will hopefully see us create a lot of opportunities for him."
Strevens added: "Once the season had finished and I'd spoken to the manager (Andy Scott) at Brentford, it was definitely one of my preferred options. Although it's been a bit drawn out, I'm thankful it's done before pre-season starts so I can get to know the boys and hopefully settle in before the first game of the season."
