Sunderland boss Steve Bruce rules out move for Middlesbrough ace

Steve Bruce has assured Middlesbrough boss Gordon Strachan that he won’t be making a £5million raid for star centre-back David Wheater.

The defender is one of Boro’s prize assets and has been watched by a host of Premier League clubs, including Everton and Aston Villa.
