Nestor Calderon has opened the door for Sunderland to make a £3m bid to sign him in January.
Sunderland boss Steve Bruce has been strongly linked with a move for the Mexican winger, one of the rising stars in his country.
Calderon, 20, is an attacking midfielder and has started the season in fine form netting five goals in just 10 games for Toluca.
Bruce is keen to strengthen his squad when the transfer window
re-opens and Calderon admits he would love the chance to play in the Premier League.
He said: “It’s a dream to play in England, it would be very important for my career.”
