Gyan to double his wages after quitting Sunderland

Asamoah Gyan will double his money after quitting Sunderland for Arab outfit Al-Ain on a year-long loan.
Striker Gyan is picking up the same £40,000-a-week deal with the United Arab Emirates outfit, but the cash is tax free – and one of the reasons why he quit the Stadium of Light.
The Black Cats also pick up a loan fee of over £1m on their one-time record buy.
The Ghanain was offered to other clubs because relations between him and boss Steve Bruce were so strained.
