Sunderland to swoop for Stephen Hunt and Kevin Doyle

Sunderland are keen on a double swoop for Reading's Stephen Hunt and Kevin Doyle.

The Royals have put winger Hunt and Doyle, 25, up for sale after their play-off failure. Striker Doyle (right), available for £6.5m, has already held talks with Wolves and is due to meet with Fulham this week.

New Black Cats boss Steve Bruce is a confirmed fan of Hunt, 27, after trying to sign him for Wigan last year.

Bruce also wants to sign another hitman after Djibril Cisse's loan ended.
