Sunderland want Darren Bent after showing Djibril Cisse the door

Djibril Cisse became the first Sunderland star out of the door yesterday - as a £10million offer to sign him was scrapped.
Chairman Niall Quinn will concentrate on buying British this summer and is lining up a raid on Tottenham for Darren Bent, once he has a new boss in place.
Cisse's patchy form - 11 goals in 32 Black Cats appearances - scuppered a full-time switch from French club Marseille.
Quinn said: "We wish Djibril well and thank him for his contribution to the club."
