Derby winger Lee Croft has agreed to join Huddersfield on loan until January 2011.
The 25-year-old was a regular in the Rams first-team at the start of last season following his summer arrival from Norwich on a free transfer.
However, Croft fell out of favour at the turn of the year and made just one start in 2010. Huddersfield boss Lee Clark told his club`s official website: "Lee will add competition for places in the wide areas. During my time at Norwich he was very prominent in creating goals."
He added: "He is experienced and comes in from a higher level having played a lot of games in the Championship and quite a few in the Premier League at a good age, which falls into line with what we are trying to do.
"For some reason he seems to have lost his way a little at Derby and it hasn`t worked out for him. Perhaps he needs this new lease of life and we are delighted to have him."
