Tim Cahill has saluted former Millwall team-mate Neil Harris, who has his testimonial against Hearts at The Den today.
Everton star Cahill played alongside striker Harris, 33, for six years.
During that time the Lions won the Division One title and reached the FA Cup final in 2004. “I still speak to him a lot and I am very proud of what he has achieved,” said Cahill.
“In his prime there was a lot of interest in him from top-flight clubs.”
Harris battled back from testicular cancer to become the club’s all-time leading scorer with 143 goals.
