Spurs can end United hoodoo - roars Redknapp

Harry Redknapp insists Tottenham can end their Manchester United hoodoo at White Hart Lane this afternoon.
It has been a decade since Tottenham beat Sir Alex Ferguson’s men – but Redknapp said: “I don’t think there is a million miles between the two teams any more.”
Redknapp then pointed to victories against Arsenal and Chelsea at home last season – and the dramatic comeback at the Emirates at the end of November – as proof that his men have overcome the inferiority complex against the top clubs.
He added: “We broke the monopoly of the Top Four last season and we have continued that. We have good players – that is the key. Winning at Arsenal was big and, yes, we can beat anybody on our day.
“This will be the best team I have ever put out against United. It’s the closest to a Manchester United team that I have ever had.”
And Redknapp is out to keep it that way. As far as he is concerned Spurs’ days as a feeder club to the likes of United are over. “We are ambitious,” he said. “We have to try to keep these players if we are to go forward.”
