Tottenham chairman intervenes in £15million bid for Samuel Eto'o

Tottenham chairman Daniel Levy has stepped in to try to broker a £15million deal for Barcelona superstar Samuel Eto'o.
Spurs are facing major competition from Inter Milan for the Cameroon striker and that has led to Levy taking matters into his own hands.
His intervention has already proved successful. He flew to Croatia to help the signing of midfielder Luka Modric from Dynamo Zagreb last month.
Tottenham are also likely to sign Crystal Palace midfield prodigy John Bostock from under the noses of Chelsea.
Bostock, 16, is one of the most sought-after talents in England, but Tottenham have won the race and will put down a payment of £500,000, which could rise to £5m.
Spurs goalkeeper Radek Cerny has agreed a two-year contract with QPR. The Czech, 34, has been on loan at White Hart Lane from Slavia Prague since 2005.
This season he has displaced Paul Robinson in the Spurs first team but is now swapping north London for a move to the Championship.
QPR have also completed the signing of defender Peter Ramage from Newcastle.
Ramage, 24, has agreed a three-year deal at Loftus Road, after Magpies manager Kevin Keegan admitted he could not guarantee him first-team football at St James' Park.
QPR, expected to be among the favourites for promotion next season, are still without a manager after parting company with Luigi De Canio last week. Iain Dowie has been linked.
