Tottenham set to sacrifice midfield flop Jermaine Jenas

Jermaine Jenas has been axed from his job as Tottenham's vicecaptain - and looks to be on his way out of White Hart Lane.

The England midfielder was given the shock news yesterday before the defeat at Wigan, where he was also left on the bench before coming on - and being partly to blame for the winner.

Jenas could now be on the move as Harry Redknapp tries to buy his way out of trouble.
