Tottenham have confirmed the signing of Croatia international midfielder Niko Kranjcar from Portsmouth.
The 25-year-old joins the North London club for a fee in the region of £2million.
Kranjcar, who can operate across the midfield, will provide cover for the injured Luka Modric.
"We have reached agreement with Portsmouth for the transfer of Niko Kranjcar to the club," read a statement on Tottenham's website.
Kranjcar will link up with former Pompey team-mates Jermain Defoe and Peter Crouch at White Hart Lane.
