Tottenham and Bolton have been put on red alert by striker Simon Vukcevic admitting he wants to leave Sporting Lisbon.
The 22-year-old is determined to get his career back on track after falling out of favour with coach Paulo Bento and plans to ask for a transfer.
The Montenegro striker has a proven track record and believes he is good enough to compete against the best teams in Europe.
Spurs coach Juande Ramos is desperate to strengthen his forward line, while Bolton were interested in bringing Vukcevic to the Reebok Stadium during the summer.
Vukcevic said: "I've already decided I'll leave in December. This is a very difficult situation for me and I'm going to ask the club if I can leave in the winter.
"I know English clubs were interested in me during the summer but nothing happened. My agent will have to act now."#
