Harry Redknapp has lined up a £7million swoop for Wigan winger Antonio Valencia.

The Spurs boss hopes to steal a march on Liverpool and Aston Villa by snapping up the Ecuador international next month.

But Wigan boss Steve Bruce is keen to fend off interest in the 23-year-old.
