Aberdeen move for former Aston Villa star

Aberdeen are ready to sign former Aston Villa midfielder Lee Hendrie.

The 33-year-old has been looking for a new club since leaving Derby at the end of last season.

Hendrie, who earned an England cap during his 12-year stay with Villa, spent the second half of the season on loan at Brighton.
