Aston Villa and Bolton are ready to battle it out for Celtic’s Israeli midfield star Beram Kayal – who wants a big-money move in the summer.
Villa boss Gerard Houllier is keen to land highly-rated Kayal, 23, after being tipped off about him by his close friend Luis Fernandez, the Israel coach.
Bolton boss Owen Coyle is also keen on £3m-rated Kayal, who caught the eye for Neil Lennon’s side although his first season at Parkhead was ended early by a broken wrist.
