Villa keeping tabs on World Cup ace Gervinho

Aston Villa are keeping tabs on Lille’s Ivory Coast international striker Gervinho.
With Norwegian striker John Carew hinting his future could be away from Villa Park, manager Gerard Houllier is facing the prospect of having to shake up his attack in January.
Gervinho, who partnered Didier Drogba in the Ivory Coast attack at the World Cup in South Africa, cost Lille about £6million from Le Mans two years ago.
The 23-year-old has previously attracted interest from Arsenal, Liverpool and Spurs.
