Villa look to cash in on £3m Davies

Aston Villa will raise funds for new boss Gerard Houllier by selling Curtis Davies after telling the star he can leave.

Defender Davies, who last night extended his loan at Leicester until January, can leave Villa Park for £3million.

Striker John Carew and midfielder Steve Sidwell will also be sold.
