Birmgingham return with THIRD offer for Palace starlet Clyne

Birmingham City are preparing an improved bid of £2.5m for the Crystal Palace right-back Nathaniel Clyne.

Birmingham have had three offers for the England youth international turned down this summer.

But they are refusing to take ‘no’ for an answer in their pursuit of the teenage defender.

Birmingham boss Alex McLeish has targeted the 19-year-old to be the long-term successor to skipper Stephen Carr.
