Birmingham clinch £3.5m deal for Villan Davies

Defender Curtis Davies has completed his move from Aston Villa to arch-rivals Birmingham for a fee believed to be £3.5million.

Davies joins midfielder Craig Gardner and defender Liam Ridgewell as former Villa players plying their trade across the second city.

The former England Under-21 player had looked set to rejoin Championship promotion chasers Leicester for a second loan spell but has instead opted for St Andrew's and guaranteed Premier League football.
