Blackpool slap £12m pricetag on Adam

Blackpool want a staggering £12million for skipper Charlie Adam - putting his move to Liverpool in jeopardy.
Seasiders chairman Karl Oyston has demanded the sky-high fee for the midfielder who cost just £500,000 two years ago, and the Anfield club are reeling.
Adam is also furious about the valuation, with Liverpool told that Blackpool are looking for a guaranteed £10million plus £2million in add-ons, which is much more than they want to pay.
Kenny Dalglish wants Adam and was edging towards a £5million offer, but now the Merseysiders are considering pulling the plug - with the player angry about the haggling.
Transfer-seeking Adam is Blackpool’s top-paid player but is on barely more than £10,000-a-week. His Blackpool contract has 18 months to run, but his valuation seems way over the top.
Adam is likely to hit out at the club’s behaviour in the next few days, with his dream move drifting away despite his behind-the-scenes efforts to push it through.
Meanwhile, Blackpool boss Ian Holloway is chasing Derby’s Republic of Ireland midfielder Paul Green as a potential replacement. The Seasiders have made an inquiry for the industrious Championship star.
