Burnley stars Steve Fletcher and Chris Eagles are considering their futures - as they face up to massive pay-cuts after relegation.
Scotland striker Fletcher and ambitious wide man Eagles both signed contracts that included clauses slashing their wages in half if the club returned to the Championship.
Fletcher signed for a record fee last summer and may have to look elsewhere to get back to the pay levels he signed on when he moved from Hibs.
Former Manchester United kid Eagles is also heading for a major drop in salary as he enters the final year of his Turf Moor contract.
Veteran Graham Alexander is set to sign a new one-year deal this week, but attacker Robbie Blake seems set to leave on a free transfer after stalling on staying because he is not sure he will play.
